Small double bed? Nothing small about it!

Hi and welcome to our site dedicated to small double beds. This is the right place for pointers and suggestions if you’re buying a small double bed or are planning to buy one and want some facts before you do that.

What’s the difference between a small double bed and a regular one?

Well, size obviously. Small double beds are generally 120 cm (or 4ft) wide, yet as they say, they  give you the comfort of a full size double bed. Three quarters size and four quarters comfort is the expression I believe. Why would you go with the smaller version is your choice really, but lack of space is the most common reason for the purchase of a small double bed. 1ft of difference is a lot of space in a small room, make no mistake about that.

Although they are small they don’t have any less luxurity potential. A small double bed frame comes in all shapes and … well no, not sizes, but colors and materials. The small double bed frame can be made of wood, metal and plastic, you name it, it can also be fabricated in leather if you’re into that. You can go for traditional metal frame or you can listen to your inner child and color the frame rainbow style.

Except the size, it has no limitations. Go out, buy it and believe me, it’s not for just one, two people can easily fit in it. Sometimes the lack of room makes a small double bed even more fun if you know what I mean ;)
